Knuff brings a little “all is well” into everyday life.
Not everyone wants to call every day or be active in the family chat. Knuff turns check-in into a simple ritual: a fingertip shows family and friends that everything is okay. If a check-in takes longer than usual, other members can contact them directly.
People come together in private groups for this, the so-called Bubbles. On the Bubble map, the members themselves can be seen. Whoever has just checked in is located on the outside in the green area. The longer the last sign of life, the further the person moves towards the red center. The status of the group is immediately recognizable.
A check-in can remain short or become more personal with mood, message, photo, video or voice message. The Knufflings, small illustrated characters, give it a special touch. Chat and optional group functions complement the app. Knuff does not replace classic messengers – it expands them with a clear “I’m okay”.
Made in Germany is more than a label: Knuff is developed by a small, independent team in Munich and operated entirely in Germany. The data also remains in the country. It is located in its own German data center; US cloud providers such as AWS, Google or Microsoft are consistently avoided.
The basic functions are free. Optional designs, Knufflings and extensions are available without subscriptions or automatic renewals. Knuff is available for iOS and Android.
